Course overview; Genetic transmission in populations
We'll start with an overview of the course, and then we';ll dive right into zero force laws in population genetics. We';ll also derive a basic principle of population genetics that you are probably already familiar with - the Hardy-Weinberg principle. What you won';t be familiar with is how many assumptions are associated with deriving it. There are so many that we';ll have to finish the derivation on Thursday.
