A little over two weeks ago Barack Obama answered the fourteen questions put to both candidates by Innovation 2008. Today John McCain has also answered the questions.
You can find the complete text of John McCain's answers at the ScienceDebate2008 web site. You'll also find a side by side comparison of the answers there.
Science, technology, and innovation issues aren't the only issues on which to base a decision, but they are important ones. I congratulate both campaigns for taking the questions seriously and taking the time to respond.
And don't forget, if you're in the DC area, you may still be able to attend the debate between presidential surrogates on 16 September at George Washington University. If you can't attend in person, you should be able to watch via a video link at www.sharp.seafora.org/candidate-forum.
