Evolution rocks!

The lyrics aren't as accurate as I would like,1 but I'm delighted to see a rock band whose "mission statement is to help teach critical thinking and science skill sets." Talk about communicating science! You can find out more about Overman at www.overman.info, and about "Evolution Rocks!" at www.overman.info/evolutionrocks.html.

1For example, if an undergraduate wrote this

The human race, the highest product of evolution, was now at the cutting edge of progress toward higher things

in a paper, we'd have a long discussion about "progress" in evolution. To say that humans are "the highest product of evolution" is either completely meaningless or completely wrong.
