Vitter, creationism, and the pork barrel

Some people thought the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District case put paid to antievolution. What it did, and did well, was to blunt the “intelligent design” label, such that it could no longer be the leading edge of the “wedge”. But antievolution goes on, seeking to stuff as many of its old, tired, bogus antievolution arguments as possible into science classrooms. And now, to pick your pocket to pay for it. (The Austringer)

Does the name “David Vitter” ring a bell? If not, let me remind you. On the 9th of July Senator Vitter released a statement apologizing for frequenting services offered by Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who is accused of racketeering in conjunction with an alleged prostitution ring.

What does David Vitter have to do with picking your pocket to pay for anti-evolutionism? Well, Austringer points out this article from the New Orleans Times-Picayune: Vitter earmarked federal money for creationist group. According to the article Vitter earmarked $100,000 in the labor, health, and education financing bill for 2008 for a group whose stated purpose is to “persuasively present biblical principles in the centers of influence on issues affecting the family through research, communication and networking.”

Until recently, its Web site contained a “battle plan to combat evolution,” which called the theory a “dangerous” concept that “has no place in the classroom.” The document was removed after a reporter's inquiry.

...

In 2002, the Louisiana Family Forum unsuccessfully sought to persuade the state Board of Elementary and Secondary Education to insert a five-paragraph disclaimer in all of its science texts challenging the natural science view that life came about by accident and has evolved through the process of natural selection.

Wait a minute! Did you catch that. The group in question is the Louisiana Family Forum. Something tells me that frequenting prostitutes, as Vitter has admitted to doing, isn't something the Louisiana Family Forum would approve of. But I guess they'll take money from anyone to fund their attacks on those immoral evolutionists.

Those of you who follow these things closely will be interested to learn that the “Battle Plan – Practical Steps to Combat Evolution” was written by one Kent Hovind, who was sentenced to ten years in prison after being convicted on 58 counts of tax fraud.

SONG OF DEBORAH
..they chose new gods then was war in the gates.. awake awake deborah utter a song.. the Lord gave you dominion over the mighty.. curse you bitterly the inhabitants thereof who came not to the help of justice against the mighty.. they divided the prey, to every man a damsel or two.. let all thine enemies perish o Lord and the land rest forty years..

Deborah palfrey deserves the Pemberton Award for Clean Governance.
Palfrey list is like the Black Book of 1918.
That trial of the Century is deleted from all books, cursed be reporters.
The list there had 47000 names.
The list here has 46000 phone bills.
The listed are not womenizers, machos or ordinary sinners.
They are power brokers gay lutheran shock and awe agitators of all wars and all panics.
These wretches are one dirty cover to the real pimps deep underground.
A curse on the kingpins, Justice Charles Darling then and Judge Adolph Kessler now.

Trial of the Century 1918

Square water melons and genetically engineered food are samples that once in a while, life is created. Not a proof, but a plausibility.
