Tools for #openscience

Chris Hartergink (@chartergink) is constructing a list of tools for openscience (link). So far the list includes writing tools,1 altmetrics tools, rOpenSci, data sharing, version control, and a number of other things.

I want to draw attention to one resource in particular, Sherpa-Romeo. It allows you to search publisher copyright and self-archiving policies so that (a) you can choose to submit papers to journals with generous self-archiving policies and (b) you can comply with journal self-archiving policies if you are like me and forget where you left your publishing agreement.
