Guilty as charged

Yesterday I stopped in the local coffee shop for an afternoon pick-me-up and to do a little writing. As I stood in line waiting for my drink, the next person stepped up to order. As we stood there waiting, I glanced around at the others in the line. Everyone was staring at their cell phone, checking e-mail, texting, or browsing the web. (Todd Henry)
I can't help myself. I do the same thing. But as Todd Henry describes, being efficient isn't necessarily the same thing as being productive.

I have fewer good ideas standing in line for coffee that I do in the shower, but I'm going to try to check e-mail from my iPhone a little less often and see if I find a few more good ideas in my head.
