I'm a little slow on the uptake here, but in case you haven't already heard about it, I wanted to let you know about a new report from the National Academy of Sciences, Advancing the science of climate change. It was released last Thursday and represents the consensus opinion of the most distinguished scientists in the United States.

Their conclusion?

"Climate change is occurring, is caused largely by human activities, and poses significant risks for -- and in many cases is already affecting -- a broad range of human and natural systems."
