Quantitative genetics: evolution of quantitative traits
If things go well, we will have started our discussion of the evolution of quantitative traits towards the end of the period on Tuesday. Today we'll cover the process as thoroughly as time allows. Unfortunately, what we cover by the end of today is all we'll have time to discuss. That means we'll have to gloss over a lot of the mathematical details and focus on the results and principles. (Stop grinning so much. It is unbecoming to derive so much enjoyment from skipping the math.)
