If you're reading the e-mail that corresponds to this entry, you should finally have received a graded copy of your final course project. I apologize for taking so long to return them. They were all graded a week ago, after all. It's just that when I pushed the "Done" button on PeopleSoft to post all of the grades, it was such a good feeling that I got busy with other things and forgot to return your papers. Even a couple of polite reminders weren't enough to get me off my duff until now.
Thanks for a great semester. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Have a happy holiday season, and if you're traveling, I hope your travels are safe.
I just posted the final grades for the course to PeopleSoft. I'm not sure how long they'll take to appear, but everyone who got a paper to me on time should find a letter grade on their transcript. If there are any problems, let me know, and I'll try to correct them.
I'll send out the graded papers to each of you individually later today or tomorrow.
If you're traveling over the holiday season, I hope your travels are safe. Have a great holiday season.
As you have noticed, I didn't get Project #3 graded and returned to you on Friday as I had hoped to do. I just finished grading the last of them and returning the graded papers a few minutes ago.
I would still appreciate receiving copies of your final projects by 5:00pm tomorrow, but since I've been tardy in getting Project #3 back to you, I will be understanding if you happen to turn in your final project a little late. I'll accept them without penalties and get them graded before the Registrar's deadline as long as you get them to me by Tuesday, 11 December at 5:00pm.
I had to take care of some personal business this weekend, which means I didn't get any grading done. This is a busy week for me, but I'll do my best to have all Project #3 papers graded and returned by Friday night. Since you may want to see what my comments are before you turn your final project papers in, I'm extending the deadline on the final project to 5:00pm Monday. You'll see the change on the web.

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM EST MONDAY.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for tonight and tomorrow morning. Click through for the text of the announcement as it was when I retrieved it from AccuWeather.com this morning. I plan to be on campus for a meeting at 8:00am, but keep an eye on the University's emergency closing information page. I'll try to remember to post an update tomorrow morning around 7:30.
If you look at the syllabus, you'll see that tomorrow's lecture is our last scheduled meeting, since I'll be out of town on Wednesday. I had planned to have course evaluations done tomorrow. If tomorrow's lecture is canceled, please plan to show up at 10:30 on Wednesday for a few minutes so that you can evaluate me then. If I don't see you tomorrow, have a safe and wonderful holiday!
