Grades posted

I've just posted final grades to PeopleSoft. I'll be returning final projects and comments on peer evaluations for Project #3 later today or tomorrow.

Thanks for a great semester. I don't think I told you, but you were the most interactive group of students I've ever had in this course. It made it a lot of fun for me to teach. I hope you enjoyed it too and found it worthwhile.

Happy Holidays!

New due date for final project

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
For reasons we'll discuss in class, my life has become a little complicated in the last couple of weeks. I'll return many, but not all, Project #3 papers this evening. Because I'm returning them a later than I'd hoped, I am also extending the due date for the final course project. Originally it was due on Monday, 12 December. The new due date is:

Wednesday, 14 December, 5:00pm

The Land Ethic

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
Aldo Leopold's "The Land Ethic", from A Sand County Almanac, is a classic essay outlining an argument for conservation. If you haven't read it, I encourage you to take a look at it before Monday. If you have read it, you may want to read it again. I've added a link to it on the detail page for Monday's lecture.

Peer evaluations

You should find an e-mail from me with papers for your evaluation attached. Please try to return by Wednesday morning. I will do my best to return papers with my comments and peer evaluations by late Wednesday or early on Thursday.
