Connecticut Bird Conservation Priorities

On 15 October 1998 the Connecticut Biodiversity Forum sponsored a meeting to review bird conservation priorities in Connecticut. The twenty-two individuals individuals invited to attend included members of the following organizations and institutions:

• Connecticut College
• Connecticut Ornithological Association
• National Audubon Society
• The Nature Conservancy
• State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection
• University of Connecticut

The attendees agreed that tables compiled by Lise Hanners represent a good assessment of the bird conservation priorities in Connecticut. These tables have no legal status, but they are provided here for use by anyone who is interested. The tables are available in two formats:

• HTML format (easiest for on-line viewing)
• PDF format (best for printing, but you will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader or another PDF viewer to display and print it)
